It has been operating in the industrial market of engineering production as a sole trader Zdenek Horák since 1990, and since the beginning of 2004 as a legal entity VKV HORÁK s.r.o. Throughout its existence, the company has cultivated a loyal clientele thanks to its professional approach, active customer care, and production quality. The company continues to develop, especially in the area of production technologies and design.
VKV HORÁK s.r.o. mainly offers designs, prototype production, production of mechanical parts or assemblies for instrument mechanics, and related production of tools, fixtures, forming and injection molds for serial production.
Within its engineering activities, the company's main goal is to offer customers modern 3D processed design and construction, prototype development and production, and tool design including their production. The company therefore uses the latest computer technology, software, and technologies.
The company's business portfolio also includes the development of the Pedant database information system, which is designed to control and streamline the activities of small and medium-sized business management. The company operates in new, modern facilities and production spaces, which contribute to ensuring quality and production efficiency.

How often do you use the HSMWorks product?

"We use a total of 11 licenses of the SolidWorks CAD system and 3 licenses of the HSMWorks CAM system in the company. Each machining center has its own CAM workstation, where the machine operator is also the programmer. All HSMWorks licenses are used every day."

How has the HSMWorks product helped you?

"Since the implementation of the HSMWorks CAM system, programming has been simplified and significantly accelerated, especially the rest machining of mold cores, which is evident in a clear increase in the company's productivity."

When did the company decide on HSMWorks?

"We decided on the HSMWorks CAM system in 2010.
The decision to purchase the product was made based on a presentation and some testing of the product and support, when it was possible to easily find solutions to obstacles that could not be overcome in the previous CAM system."
